What to bring the hostess has got to be one of the hardest decisions to make during the holiday season. They’re opening their home to you and serving you a lovely meal, the least you can do is bring them something memorable. Well I’m here to help!
My Personal Favorites
Some of my go-to hostess gifts include herb olive oil from Class Act Catering, a family favorite. This olive oil is magic. Used it as salad dressing, marinade your meat with it, or just simple dip your bread in it. It’s the absolute best stuff. Everyone I’ve gifted this to has come back to ask for more! I even wrapped them up (see pic below) and gave them as gifts for a My Favorite Things Party last year! Sold exclusively through my friend Joe, the owner of Class Act Catering, so you’ll need to connect with him via social media to order your own!
Belmont Peanuts, the best darn box of peanuts you’ll ever have (and I don’t like peanuts…but I love these!). My Mom’s childhood next door neighbor from North Carolina owns this company so we’ve been chomping on these delicious peanuts for years. My dad orders cans of these to give out to his clients during the holidays and we usually give them to our neighbors too. My parents always enjoy delivering them because they are legendary in their neighborhood! Trust me and snag a few cans of these to eat and to gift this year!
Other Hostess Gifts To Try
I’ve pulled together a list of six beautiful and unique hostess gifts that are sure to please! Pair any of these with a nice bottle of wine and you’ll be the hit of the party! I particularly love #2, 3, and 4! Which of my picks are your favorite? As always, I’d love to know if any of you bring these to your holiday gatherings!
1. Warmest Wishes Cocoa Gift Set 2. Holiday Cedar Wreath 3. Top That Toast Card Game 4. 12 Days of Christmas Plate Set 5. Assorted Chai Tea Gift Set 6. Date Night In Cookbook
1. Warmest Wishes Cocoa Gift Set – Um. Yum! I love how this gift set is boxed to perfection. It’s simple and easy because you don’t even have to wrap it!
2. Holiday Cedar Wreath – One of my favorite home decor small shops, Jaclyn James Home sells these gorgeous cedar wreaths! This would make such a great gift for the holiday decor lover. Just pair with a great bottle of wine and you’ve got a perfect combo!
3. Top That Toast Card Game – 250 cards to help get your guests laughing and engaged after dinner. These cards would make a great hostess gift, just add a bottle of wine and you’re set!
4. 12 Days of Christmas Plate Set – Ok, real talk here. If you’re going over to the bosses house for a Christmas event or someone you really want to impress is hosting you for a meal, this is the hostess gift to bring. How perfectly meaningful is this plate set, the 12 Days of Christmas! I don’t know about you but if anyone brought me this plate set for hosting I would be blown away! So gorgeous! Is it on the pricier side, but completely worth it!
5. Assorted Chai Tea Gift Set – This gorgeous gift set made it onto Oprah’s Favorite Things list, so you know it’s going to be good. This is a great gift particularly if your hostess isn’t a coffee drinker. Lots of great holiday flavors in here too, yum!
6. Date Night In Cookbook – I love this idea! A great gift to bring those newlyweds who might be hosting their first holiday gathering!
