Happy Black Friday! Who’s ready for another Friday Favorites post?!
Let me guess, you’re laying on the couch, stuffed from all the mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce yesterday, and looking for something interesting on your phone to scroll through while football is on. 😉 Don’t worry. I’ve got you!
Below are some of my favorite things from this last week!
Favorite DIY:Â Mini Christmas Wreath Decor
What you need:
- Wire Wreath Garland (works best if you use garland with bendable wire)
- Festive Ribbon or Twine – I just used twine I snagged from Target last year (find it here) but you can also use any ribbon or string you have on hand.
- Push Pins
What to do:
- Cut Wire Wreath Garland into mini wreaths. Mine were about 5 inches in diameter.
- Measure ribbon or twine to the length you desire and tie to the top of the wreath in a bow.
- Use Push Pins to secure the wreath. I chose to put mine on all of my upper kitchen cabinets.
See, so easy! 🙂

Favorite Purchase: Mid-Rise Distressed Ankle Jeans (currently 40% off!)
As you’ve probably noticed from my Instagram, I’ve been wearing these mid-rise distressed jeans on the regular! They’re perfect with a chunky sweater and I picked them up for $15 a few weeks back when Old Navy was having a super sale. They’re currently 50% off now, too! Hurry, they’re selling out quick. These are the perfect stretchy jean and run true to size (if in between sizes, size down). Here’s another pair that’s a similar cut and style if the others sell out!
Favorite Accessory: Ilymix Blanket Scarf use code becca20 for 20% off!
You know I’m a scarf girl – I may have a bit of an obsession. So, when Ilymix via Jewelry Bean (@jewelrybean) reached out to me, I was thrilled! You’ve probably seen a few of their scarves on my Instastories recently. They’re beautiful! I’ll be doing a full blog post on a few of their scarves soon, but until then I wanted to share my 20% off code (becca20) so you can snag up something wonderful for yourself or for a few people on your Christmas list this year!
Favorite Recipe:Â YOU GUYS. I received a mystery winter squash in my CSA box from Jubilee Farm last week and (after some investigation) I figured out it was a Delicata Squash! It’s so delicious! Hands down my new favorite squash! It’s so simple to prepare and made a fantastic side to our steak and quinoa dinner the other night. I’m going to start throwing it on salad or even making it as a quick snack because I looooooove it! Plus, fun side note >> you can eat the skin!
Here’s how I prepared it:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds.
- Slice squash halves into 1/2 inch thick strips (should look like half moons).
- Lightly cover in olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste, and lay on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes, flipping squash at the 15 min mark.
- Enjoy!
Favorite Baby Item:Â Graco Doorway Bumper Jumper
Macey isn’t quite sitting up on her own yet but wants to be able to see everything that’s going on around her. My wonderful friend Erin gave us this Graco Jumper and it’s been a huge lifesaver! Instead of Macey being annoyed that I’ve left her on her floor mat to entertain herself while I cook dinner, I can set up her jumper in the doorway between the living room and the kitchen and she can bounce around while I cook (thanks Erin!). We love it because it doesn’t take up much room and is easy to store.
That’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this weeks Friday Favorites!
