I had a few goals when I first started blogging, one major goal was to work with and highlight brands that are doing more in our community than just selling product. So today I’m really excited to introduce you to a new brand that’s doing its part to help eradicate one of the biggest injustices in our world right now: human trafficking.
In early November I met up with my friend Aleah. Our families have been friends for years but Aleah and I never really spent much time together. Not only is she beautiful, warm, and an amazing mother, but she, her husband, and kids have decided to start a clothing brand to bring awareness to, and help foster a constructive conversation around, the issue of human trafficking.
Friends, meet Abolitionist Brand.
Abolitionist Brand is a new clothing brand focused on being a “resistance force to fight modern day slavery and help those who have been trafficked.” Not only is this brand standing for something, but a portion of their sales are being donated to Rescue Freedom, an organization that is working around the world to set those who have been trafficked free. For more information, check out both Abolitionist Brand and Rescue Freedom.
Now that you know who they are, let me tell you about their products! First, my husband is super picky when it comes to hats. When I brought home the Abolitionist Brand hat for him, I don’t think he took it off for three days straight. Besides the hat he wears when he plays softball, this is his most worn hat, and let me tell you…it looks good! 😉 What a great gift idea for the hat-wearer on your list! And if you’re looking for a warmer option, they just finalized the design for their beanies which are now available on their site!
Next lets talk about their tees! Soft, great true-to-size fit, and easy to wear casually or under a blazer, like I did. This tee comes in black, charcoal, and a teal blue. I went with classic black, but there’s no wrong choice! 🙂 See how I styled it below!

Oh, and Macey loves Abolitionist Brand, too! 🙂
