Y’all the #5x5challenge is back! I love doing this with some of my favorite blogger babes. As you know, this is a great way to creatively get more wear out of your closet (#thereimaginedcloset) by limiting yourself to 5 pieces over 5 days. These 5 pieces can be anything you’d like but shoes, jackets, and accessories don’t count, so you can really get creative with those!
All photos in this post are done by the beautiful and talented Chelsea Macor of Chelsea Macor Photography.
The Pieces
1. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings >> An investment but every girls best friend. I purchased these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale three years ago and I’m still loving these leggings. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I can still wear them. I’m wearing a medium.
2. Jersey Short Sleeve Dress >> One of my favorite purchases from Amazon ever. This $20 jersey dress is perfect to dress up or down, plus it has the length I need to chase Macey around the playground without being worried (I’m 5’7 and wearing a medium).
3. H&M Color Block Sweater >> My exact sweater color is sold out but I’m linking a few different color options + some that are very similar! I love that this sweater is tunic length because it allows me to wear it with leggings or over a dress to mix things up, or I can wear it classic-ly with a pair of jeans!
4. Chambray Button-up Shirt >> I snagged this during my Old Navy Try On and am still loving it! It’s such a classic wardrobe staple. I love this one in particular because it’s light weight, not too tight in the arms, and is such a great shade of denim.
5. White Tunic Tee >> My exact tee is sold out but I linked a few similar options. This is a great basic and perfect for layering (especially if you’re pregnant)!
The Looks
Monday
A Monday is always better in leggings. Add a handmade floral clutch and you’ve really got something fun.
Tuesday
Op – another legging day. 😉 But this time I paired it wish a cozy sweater, little black booties, and infinity scarf from Asterisk Boutique.
Wednesday
This may be my favorite look of the week. Simple but pulled together. These OTK boots are so comfortable. I snagged them on sale a few months back and they’re still one of my favorite purchases.
Thursday
My most creative look of the week. I love the idea of layering a sweater over a dress to give it a different look.
Friday
Casual Friday!
